It's breakfast on the house, but who paid?

How cool is this?

As read in a regional weekend newspaper, while visiting Wollongong two weeks ago:

When Darrell and Cleo Pitt arrived at their gourmet burger shop in Shellharbour yesterday morning they found an envelope under the door containing a mysterious letter and $210 cash.
"The letter in the envelope has been done up like an old treasure map with holes burnt in it and all this sort of stuff," said Mr Pitt, the owner of Bobby's Gourmet Burgers.

"Dear Bobby," the letter began. "You have been selected as a special disciple of the Phantom Givers Inc. "Your mission is to gift your loyal customers with free food and beverages to the value of $200. Enclosed is $210 cash. "You, however, have a choice. "One, on Friday 21st November, 2008, you will open your doors. The first $200 worth of sales will be given to your customers for free and you may keep the $10 as a profit. No reason need be given. "Or two, you can keep the $210 and say nothing. Nothing further will be said and no-one will ever know. PGI."

Mr and Mrs Pitt have no idea who sent the letter or why, but they knew what they had to do. When they opened at 7am, they shouted their customers to breakfast. "People were delighted and we had to explain to them what had happened and show them the letter, because they were insisting on giving us money, and we had to say, 'no, someone else has already paid'," Mr Pitt said.

"I think someone has done it because they like us and with the way the world economy is going, maybe people have thought it is a tough period for business people."

How sweet is that?
I wonder if Darrell and Cleo are related to Brad? Perhaps he's sharing his wealth around.
