And Holly says: I thought I would do my monthly toy drop while I was in Guatemala this month...and while planning what sort of toy I wanted to make, I became fixated on the idea of making a doll--a doll with clothing that could be removed and played with. In my head, I imagined a little guatemalan girl picking this up and having it...so that is what I made, creating my own pattern for it. It was dropped on Valentine's Day in the late morning in Antigua's central park where the locals gather daily. We hung it up near an entrance to the park, and turned our back to find a park bench to sit down, and when we turned back 1 minute later--all that remained was the pink ribbon on the ground. Gone, just like that.
