This evening when I was out for a walk along the cliffs at Coogee, I found a beautiful little toy ornament: a tiny bird in a cage labelled “Take me home, I’m yours”.
It was tied up with a beautiful bow and inside was a lovely card telling me who the toy was from.
At first, I thought of putting it back for someone more deserving. Then I realised it really was for me! The card said so and I should receive the gesture with grace.
Thank you Toy Society, for a priceless lesson in receiving. I am going to hang the little toy somewhere where it can remind me every day about being open to the gifts of the universe!
